Oh Hello

Its Saturday night and I just cleaned my whole house. Floors, toilets, the works. Now I'm blogging! I feel super awesome about it. Its what all the cool people do on Saturday nights.

Jason will be home in less then a week! It has been a long five weeks and I am so ready for him to get home.

Luke and Aubree are now ELEVEN months old. They are doing all sorts of new and cute things. They both walk now. They have been for a couple weeks and, obviously, they get better everyday. Both of them also sign 'more' when they want more.

Some of my favorite things Aubers does new are....

She says, "tickletickletickletickle."
She has also said, "duck" and "turtle" when I am showing her pictures of them and saying it but she won't do it often.
If she has a toy in her hand and you say, "Hello. Who is it?" She puts it to her ear and tilts her head like she is one the phone.
She rips out her hair bows and then tries to put them back on her head over and over again. She also combs her own hair and anytime I say, "pretty" she rubs the top of her head.

Some of my Lukey's cute, new things....

He gives Aubree kisses when I am changing her diaper. I love it. Aubree loves it and thinks its so funny. I have tried to get a picture of it but anytime I break out the camera Luke has to come try to get it.
He says, "hi" on the phone.
He loves hats! He will try to put them on his head and then bring them to me to help him.
The kid loves to laugh and just waits for you to do anything that he can laugh at.
He adores Porter and thinks anything he does is hilarious. He follows Porter everywhere.

I am so sad that I will soon have two little one year old kids. It seems like they are not really babies anymore. As hard as it was, and as fun as it is to see them grow and learn, I wish they could just stay tiny a little longer.
But such is life.

Porter has been hanging out a ton with his cute new friend. They do something new everyday....

Porter doing his homework.
(This is why I am the most excited to have Jason home. You know, so HE can help Porter with his homework. Not my favorite.)

The other day the kids and I drove out to Antelope Island. We actually had a lot of fun. Porter, like me, likes to look at the old museum-ish houses and things like that. It was perfect weather and just nice to be outside.

I think I might get back to my super cool Saturday night and go make some zucchini bread.
