I can not believe I have been a mom for five years. Porter is such an amazing boy I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole world to be able to have him in my life.
This year he had his very first 'friend' party. He wanted it to be Mario themed and I had all these grand ideas but, once again, time got away from me. I was scrambling to get everything ready the few days before but it turned out great anyway and he had so much fun. We did it in my parent's back yard because he wanted all his friends up there to be able to come. Thanks so much to my best friend, Natalie, for bringing her kids up and helping me!
Porter told me his favorite part was playing red rover red rover.
On his actual birthday my parents and grandparents came over for cake and ice cream. I didn't take many pictures.
One of my super cute cousins, Cami, has a tradition to decorate her dinning area the night before her boys birthdays. I think it is such a cute idea so I am totally stealing it and making it a tradition for my kids too! Porter loved it. He made us leave it up for three days!

Cute pictures!! I'm so glad you came back for his birthday!! Owen was so happy!! I loved that Owen wouldn't wear his Mario shirt all week because he wanted to save it for Porters birthday!! So funny!!
