Thank Yous - Nine Months

We are all moved into our new place!

Well, we are here and all our stuff is here. There are still a million boxes to unpack but that will happen some day. I hope. At least I have internet now!

A big thanks to my brother in law, Morgan and his family (especially Zack). They came up and helped us get all our stuff packed into a U-haul.

Another big thanks to my dad and my sister for moving all our stuff out of the u-haul and into our new place and getting all the furniture put together.

Another big thanks to my mom for helping me unpack a ton of our things.

Another big thanks to my grandpa for helping Jason paint and my grandparents for taking care of Porter while we moved.

I don't know what I would do without our families! I was able to mostly just take care of Luke and Sis while Jason and our families did pretty much everything. I really owe Jason a huge thanks too!

It has been such a crazy month with packing and moving and Jason's crazy schedule. I tried to keep the kids entertained and out of the house so Jason could get some things done. We went to the Dinosaur museum in Lehi one rainy afternoon. Porter liked it okay, it wasn't his favorite. Aubree was great and Luke insisted on being carried the entire time again. Stinker.

They had a whole pirate theme going on. The kids could make all kinds of cute little crafts like the pirate hat Porter is wearing. They could also get their faces painted. Porter has a thing for Tinkerbell. What can I say? While we were waiting in line for the face painting me and the mom behind me got talking and she told me about this little video on youtube. It is hilarious (to me) because its too true. I have been asked every single one of these questions a million times and have had countless similar conversations, although my responses are much different. If only I had the guts.

Luke and Aubree's NINE month check-up with the doctor went great. They are both very healthy and doing awesome.

Aubree has really taken off verbally lately. She says, dada, mama, bye bye, hi, and baby. She makes a piggy noise when you ask her what a pig says and then make the noise at her. I'm not sure if she is just copying me or if she is telling me what a pig says. Probably the first but it is so cute. It is my new favorite thing. She also said, "hi dada!" to Jason the other day when he was saying hi to her. She is also cruising the furniture like crazy and will go from the couch to the ottoman with a kind of lunge step. She also gives high fives and has the cutest wave where she just bends her fingers up and down.

Luke is crawling up on his hands and knees occasionally but still does his army crawl mostly. He loves to follow Porter around the house and Porter is so cute about it. Luke is going to start on an acid reflux medication to see if that is why he gets so cranky and irritable at times. He still spits up every time he eats which he should have grown out of by now. He also needs to go see a pediatric ophthalmologist because when he is tired his eyes don't always coordinate. I have only seen one of his eyes go lazy a couple times but his doctor said that it was somehing we would want to get checked out and corrected. How stinking cute would Mr. Luke look with little baby glasses? He is so fun in the mornings after he eats. He will sit on my lap and let me read books to him forever. He is such an affectionate and cuddly little guy lately. He is still says mama, dada and ball.

Aubree is getting her four top teeth and the two teeth on the sides are down a lot more then the middle two so she looks like a little vampire baby. I need to get a picture of it. Luke still has NO sign of any teeth.

So they are pretty little for nine months.

I said to Porter the other day, "Luke is being a pill and a half today isn't he?"
Porter said, "No, he is being a caterPILLer in a hole."

I think Porter has slept at my grandparents house more nights this month then he has stayed with me! My uncle and his family are in town right now so Porter is staying busy up there with his favorite cousin, Lucy. I think they are at the zoo right now and they went to a parade yesterday! Tomorrow we are all going to Lagoon! I am so excited to spend some fun time with my little guy!
