Another Random Post

Luke and Aubree are NINE months old today!

AND Luke finally crawled up on his hands and knees! Across the kitchen table to my dad. See...

He has been doing this crazy, wiggly, army crawl that is super fast. We were starting to wonder if he would ever crawl because he can get around so well.

Aubree can crawl up stairs with ease. She is just fearless which totally freaks me out. She is already much more of a climber then Porter ever was and more then Lukey. I don't know that she will walk as early as Porter did though because she is a bit spazy. She is also getting at least one more tooth on top. I think maybe two. Luke still has NO teeth!

They have their nine month baby well check in a few days.

We celebrated by going to the Aquarium. Actually I didn't realize they were nine months until we got to there and someone asked me how old they were, but whatevs.

Luke absolutely loved it. He had to be right up close to all the fish tanks and he tried to grab everything, even the scary looking spiders. He was just over the moon excited he kept kicking his legs and squealing at every new tank. He especially loved the octopus.

This is what he thought about being in the stroller. He couldn't reach the fish. My left bicep should be yoked from carrying his chunkyness around all day.

Lucky for me Aubree was a perfect little princess and just chilled in the stroller the entire time. I think she is more of a people watcher.

Porter is almost as tall as an Emperor Penguin. He wanted Luke to sit ON his feet like the baby penguins do with the daddy penguins. It didn't really work so we improvised.

They all loved crawling on this huge frog.

I think these boys are going to be best friends. They were practicing for when they are older and can go fishin.

FoUrTh Of JuLy!

I was feeling especially patriotic this 4th with all Jason's Air Force things going on and such. I'm not going to lie though, my holiday was LAME! I didn't do anything really. Jason and I took the babies to do a little shopping and then we came home and Jason and the babies went to bed. The End.

Porter took trax with my parents and sister to the Bees game and they had a blast, they have awesome fireworks. He didn't get home until after Midnight. That is more then FIVE hours past his bed time! I think he is still catching up on sleep.

We did light a few fireworks early in the day. Porter loved the smoke bombs and the sparklers.

Aubree's festive feet! The pedi isn't professional, I did it.

And then my camera died. The End. Again.

Actually we knew we weren't going to do much on the fourth because of Jason's schedule. I also like to keep the babies on their sleeping schedule so life gets kinda lame sometimes. I can deal with it for happy, well slept kids though. When Porter was a baby he had absolutely no schedule at all and he was such a happy baby and has always been a great sleeper, but I just can't bring myself to risk it with two. Plus Luke tends to get extra cranky when he is tired.

Anyway where I was going with that is that we did take time a few days before the 4th to do a little celebrating as a family.

We took a drive out to the Air Force base and went to the splash park there. Porter loved it. Aubree was not sure about the water at all. It took Jason a little work but he got Luke playing in the water before we left. It was a very fun day. A little time with Dad does us all good. Porter was too busy running around but here is a funny looking picture of Luke and Sis.

On the way home Jason had to run into the office store to pick up some study materials (really quick). 45 minutes later the babies were getting cranky and I had sang (or is it sung?) every song I could think of 12 times. I gave them these little gerber pinwheel cookies we had just got, because when you are bored and cranky you should eat a cookie. Aubree thought they were hilarious. (or maybe she just gets punchy and delirious like me?)

"Here mom, you taste this silly thing." She is always sharing her binky with me too. She is a sweet baby.

Luke loves anything edible he can get his chubby little hands on.

Luke was DONE being in his car seat.

My sister, Cutie, got home from fighting the Horseshoe Two fire in AZ. We are so glad she is home safe.

We have been trying to pack and clean and get everything organized for our move. We get our keys on Thursday! I am so excited. School is done, tests will be done and we can have more of a normal schedule. Jason will be done with the graveyard shift so soon and I am counting down the days!

Hope you all had a Happy Fourth!
