Graduation Festivities

The beginning of June was crazy busy.

Jason and I went to his school's dinner banquet at La Caille! It was a really fun night and I got to meet a lot of Jason's friends.

At the banquet Jason got the award, "Got the Least Amount of Sleep Through Pharmacy School." They talked about how he worked full time graveyards, had a son and then we had the twins while he was still in school. I guess I don't really give Jason the credit he deserves for all his hard work its just is who he is. When I hear about other people who don't work during school or do things part time I don't get it. I have to realize that Jason is Super Man and can do it all. I know I for sure couldn't do it!

The next day we had a couple of Jason's friends from school and their wives over for a BBQ. It was very laid back and fun to get to know his friends and hear what life has in store for them after school.

Then we attended Jason graduation where I forgot my memory chip :( My grandpa had his camera and took a bunch of pictures so once he emails them to me I will have to update this post with a few pictures. I am not going to lie, that was a stressful day. We had to get ourselves and three small children ready and out the door by 7:45 AM. I am so not a morning person. The graduation went awesome and I could not be prouder of Jason for getting his DOCTORATE OF PHARMACY!!! He gave me his sash which meant that he was thankful for my helping him 'get though' school or something like that. I was honored as I really was more work then help for him I'm afraid. Anyway I am seriously overjoyed that he is done!

Porter yelled, "YAY DAD!" after the Dean had said Jason's name, everyone clapped and cheered and then went silent again awaiting the next name. It was really cute. Everyone laughed.

Jason's parents came up from Arizona for his graduation and we were able to spen a couple hours the next day and go to the zoo. Porter was in Heaven and was at his grandpa's side the whole time! Grandma, Luke and I were there too but no pics.

The other we went out to Hill AFB for him to be commissioned a Captain! So we can either call him Dr. Bingham or Captain Bingham! Haha! Aren't pharmacist always referred to as Dr? No? I forgot my camera again and I am so mad I did. It was really so cool. Major Anderson, who will be Jason's Major, commissioned him. Jason took an oath in front of The Flag and I was seriously just bursting with pride for my Officer! Major Anderson then gave Jason his first Captain bars for his uniform and they were also Major Anderson's own first Captain Bars. How cool is that? Hopefully one day Jason will become a Major and be able to pass them on to a new Captain. They also got Jason a cake that said, "Congratulations Captain Bingham" I am so excited for him to get out there and get started. One of the gals there took a few pics with her phone so I will have to get them. Also, the Major had Sgt. Fox teach Jason how to stand at attention and how to salute. Then after he was commissioned Sgt. Fox saluted Jason and Jason had to give him a silver dollar which, oddly enough, he had one in his pocket! Major Anderson also gave Jason his first coin. He will have to carry the coin with him because in the Air Force if someone challenges you by slamming their coin down you have to slam yours back down or buy everyone drinks!

AND the babies turned EIGHT months old yesterday. I will have to do a post on that another day. This one is long enough.

You are one beautiful mamma! And The Middle Part! Yeeessss! I'm SO proud! Hahahaha and just so you know, after you left the salon a girl came up to me and said "You are a hair goddess!(really those were her words) That girl's hair (yours of course) was THE PRETTIEST hair I've ever seen!" And I was all "Dude, I know. And she has TWINS." I have NO idea what that had to do with anything, but it felt right at the time to say it...hahaha. Anywho, congrats to your hubby!
