We're Back and it is FREEZING!

We were able to enjoy a few days of nice weather and then it got cold in St. George too, but not this cold! Good thing Spring is supposed to be on its way, according to the Groundhog. I can not wait. I have never been so excited to see January come to an end!

It was a fun little trip, not relaxing at all but fun still. I didn't get any sleep and I don't think Jason did either. I did get a heavenly massage though. How sad is that that the first thing I say about our vacation has to do with sleep, or lack thereof. It really just goes to show what life is like at this point in time with two babies. Porter got some sleep but not as much as usual which is to be expected on vacation, right? He would spend at least an hour every night singing himself to sleep. He would just make up random songs mostly about Utah. I wish I would have wrote them down he is such a funny kid. Jason and I tried our best to explain to him that we were still in UT, but after listening to his songs I'm not quite sure the message sank in.

Jason and Porter did a lot of swimming and went to Jumping Jacks. Porter and I went to see Yogi Bear. About two minutes into the movie Porter told me that he did not like it. Luckily he and I were the only two in the theater so we chatted and played brick breaker on my phone and just enjoyed our time out.

We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, pizza place and of course the Pasta Factory where Jason threw bread crumbs under my chair to make the birds swarm around me! I hate birds! Why does he think its funny to freak me out? I also got asked there for the first time if my boy/girl twins were identical! Really people? One is a boy and one is a girl so, no. We also got to have dinner one night with our good friends Jake and Julia. So yeah we did a lot of eating. I was going to go to the gym everyday and run on the treadmill but I didn't, not even once. Ooops. I need to get back to Chalean too.

The drive down was a bit hectic and Porter let us know that two babies are really hard! Thanks bud, we hadn't noticed. The drive home was much better.

Porter was trying to balance on his swimming noodle (when I was in the shower might I add - Jason was in charge at the time - just wanted to make that clear) and he biffed it hard and slammed his cheek on the metal part of his bed so hard that it gave him a black eye! I need to take a picture of it, it is so sad. It turned into a goose egg on his face and a big red mark on top of the black and blue! Poor kid.

I am the worst at remembering to take pictures - we only got a few.

The view out of our little condo was amazing and I didn't think to take a picture of it until just before we left. There was a big cloud covering the mountain so this picture just does not do it any justice.

Luke in my wrap with Jason. Jason and I thought this was hilarious. We were so loopy and tired and just past our points with Luke. Sometimes this is the only way to get Luke to quit crying.

Porter still rocking his BIG smile.

Porter in Luke's car seat.

No pictures of the girls this trip I guess...
